As I start to looking back, my mind screaming yo don’t look at that!
But then I separate from story what I mistook for fact
& feel glory while I felt broken still stood intact
Saw the narrative was not declarative & took it back
I saw the hook then shook the trap and I shook from flack
Now I see I have it all cuz I don’t look for lack
Peace I’m cooking that like catfish in the deep fryer
Through my practice I strive to really see desire
Not so it’ll be retired but to free from ire
But for true rebirth I truly need the fire
So I let it burn like the California lands
& know the beauty of the moment comes from life’s distorted plans
I’m channeling tortured hands that couldn’t afford to stand
For advance amidst hateful & atrocious clans
Claiming we were least no more than the master’s beast
Their fight’s why I haven’t ceased seeking my masterpiece

Don’t let the culture make you think you always need to win
Use the loss as cause to make the masterpiece within
Don’t always look to others when you need a friend
Look inside your mind and you’ll find the masterpiece within
I stopped blindly seeking sin and started seeking zen
Now when distraught what I sought’s the masterpiece within
I stay mindful of my queens & what I’m teaching them
So that in time what they’ll will find’s the masterpiece within

Tired of the niceties with those that try to fight with me
That have decided everything I am and all that I could be
So I fight for me, mightily, but what is living righteously
Is it trying to be selfless in spite of the anxiety?
Because hate behaves maniacally
& that hate’s genetically preserved in our psychiatry
Is spreading love and light the key?
My conscience is inviting me
To look within pondering what third eye can see
A mind that’s free I contemplate with fried fish on plate
Sipping wine from a bomb estate ‘til at calmer state
My vices complicate when emotion tries to confiscate
The beauty of the moments as they congregate
But this wine is awesome, great, & it’s anything but
commonplace
So now I calm my pace & will not disregard my place
I dominate so I take the doubt and I release
& consummate the completion of my masterpiece

For producing peace & passion that is pivotal
To creating wisdom in rhythm, derision can’t conceal
